Doing something memorable

We were heading into town on Friday and I wanted to make it memorable. There’s so many times when someone says “What did you do over the weekend?” and I answer “You know, I can’t really remember. Just hung out, I guess.”

With that in mind, I decided to bring our camera and my mission was to try to spot unusual things in Bath that I hadn’t seen before. It was amazing the amount of detail that jumped out at me.

Hope you enjoy the photos.

  1. Really nice set Ryan, Bath looks like a stunning place to visit!

Sorry but these are very ordinary shots. You want to try taking from unusual angles – just taking shots from the angle we look at every day is just a bit dull. Also it would be good to annotate – explain what you're looking at and why you found it interesting.

  3. Fair points – these are things I hadn't noticed before. It's funny how you walk around a town for ages, but you miss a lot.

  4. I've added some detailed descriptions to each photo on Flickr.

Cool pictures Ryan. These pictures don't need explaining. You can just see why they were interesting to you. It funny that happens to me living in New York sometimes. I forget about all the huge buildings in around me and they one day I look up and I am amazed once again. You have inspired me Ryan I am going to take my camera out today.

  7. These are great, bro, inspired Melissa and I to spend some time appreciating the beauty and detail of the city we live in :)
